All the information furnished during the registration should be accurate. Any changes later on should be immediately intimated to Art Invest. For security reasons Art Invest has the right to clarify and verify the information provided by you.
All the invoices are finalized in the name of registered buyer. Payments should be strictly made by registered buyer only. In case of failure, cross examination and genuine reason would be investigated and Art Invest will have all the rights to reject the payment from non- registered individual.
The price of an artwork does not include any taxes like VAT, shipping costs and other duties. They are charged as applicable. The modified price information will be provided once the deal is finalized. Please note that international buyers need not pay any VAT if delivery is outside India.
Placing an order on www.artinvest.in constitutes an irrevocable acceptance of the purchase.
Once an order is placed on Art Invest the buyer is required to make full payment for the price of the artwork as well as the charges referred to above within 7 working days from the date of placing the order. In the event that Art Invest does not receive payment within 7 working days Art Invest reserves the right to cancel the order without prior notice to the buyer. Alternately, and without prejudice to the foregoing, Art Invest may, at its absolute discretion, hold the artwork for the Buyer and charge any storage and insurance costs applicable on the purchase and/or may seek to commence legal proceedings (acting as the agent of the Seller) to ensure execution of the contract of sale.
The artworks will be delivered/shipped to the Buyer within 15 days once all necessary documentation, relating to transportation, tax, etc. as may be reasonably requested for are completed and payment has been realized in full including any additional charges. In the event that the buyer chooses to himself collect the artworks from Art Invest he must do so within two weeks of Art Invest receiving the payment.
Art Invest will also provide an ‘Authenticity Certificate’ for every art artwork sold through www.artinvest.in
The information regarding the artwork is judged to be true on the basis of information provided by artist and seller. Any differences between physical appearance and image on the website will be intimated to the buyer through mail. The buyer has all the right to decide on the closure of the deal.
You agree to abide by all provisions prescribed in these terms and conditions. In particular, you warrant that all information that you submit will be true and accurate (including without limitation your credit card number and expiration date), and you agree to pay all costs, charges plus all applicable taxes for the purchases made by you.
All foreign currency exchange rates for the purchase are made on a constant of 1:49 (USD: INR). The prices for individual artworks have been 'rounded off' for ease of reference and do not necessarily reflect the exact exchange rate that will be used for calculation of the invoiced price.
Disputes, if any, would be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction only.
